About Book:

This book is a compilation and analysis of the provisions relating to company law, securities law and Accounting Standards, with necessary references of case laws and regulatory updates. At the end of each chapter, the regulatory updates of the related provisions are presented in chronological order in tabular format. This will help the reader in understanding the evolution of the provision in the respective laws.

There are two chapters of the comparative studies:

(i) Comparison of related party transactions provisions under Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Listing Regulations,
(ii) Comparison of the AS 18 and Ind AS 24 that relate to the disclosures under Accounting Standards.

The Chapter analysing the policy on materiality of related party transactions of the Nifty-50 companies will be helpful for the directors and compliance officers of listed companies, public companies (listed or unlisted) and private companies for the purpose of imbibing the best corporate practices in India.
