Global Refugee Crises

by Prof.Sanoj Ranjan
Categories: Other Laws
Publisher: Thomson Reuters South Asia Private Limited
About Book:

This book explores the rights of refugees and the corresponding obligation of states in the current crisis. This book presents emerging issues under thirteen chapters in two parts. Part I, through ten chapters, guises into various contemporaneous refugee issues emanating from major municipal jurisdictions, including the United States, Europe and the UK, the three major key refugee destinations. In Part II, through three chapters, an attempt is made to focus on India, a non-signatory to the international refugee law framework, to bring out the strengths and weaknesses of municipal law refugee remedies, which exist independent of the international refugee framework.
