Mr. Vinay Vaish heads the firm’s Corporate, Litigation and Advisory Practice at New Delhi. He has been associated with the firm since 1987. He has extensive experience in handling commercial, corporate and tax litigation and general corporate advisory including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, inbound and outbound investments, employment law and real estate. He is also involved in the Education practice of the Firm and has represented and continues to advise Universities / Educational Institutions on their education initiatives and on setting-up education institutions.

His extensive business law and transactional experience includes drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements. He has advised several multinational companies on financial and technical collaborations and strategies/ options for commencing operations in India, and several Indian companies on various aspects of law. His practice covers diverse areas of employment laws, civil litigation including drafting of pleadings, giving opinions and appearances-independently as well as with senior counsels-before various judicial authorities, tribunals and various fora. These include the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, District Courts, Consumer Fora, Company Law Board, Arbitral Tribunals and other Statutory Commissions. Besides he has advised on and appeared in Arbitration proceedings representing both foreign and Indian clients.

He has addressed several national and international conferences and seminars on subjects like Foreign Direct Investment, entry strategies for foreign companies, Real estate issues. He has co-edited an in house publication by the firm “Think Business Think India”.
